Vintage shoot/ Mom & Grandma's Dresses :)

So a while ago I tried on my mom's old wedding dress and it was absolutely beautiful and it was fun seeing how different the styles were back then. After I tried on my mom's dress my mom suggested that I try on my Grandma's dress, it took a while to find it but when we did I LOVED it. My grandma's sister-in-laws actually made her wedding dress in 1958 so it was so vintage. I tried my grandma's dress on and then I had the idea to do a vintage wedding shoot before me and Jordan get married to have  some fun memories in the generations of dresses. The wonderful Anita Terry in my ward was nice enough to do this fun shoot for us in Liberty by Bart's Pond just right off of the North Ogden Divide. I loved loved loved these pictures, and they made some fun memories.

This is my mother's wedding dress, and her veil.

Grandma's dress, I loved how it was a shorter dress and non-traditional!

My favorite picture of all time! :)

Babayyy Blessing

My cousin Shantay just had her second beautiful baby boy! His name is Nolan Clyde Haslam and he is the most cuddly baby ever! I wanted to hold him forever and ever and then I told Jordan to hold him. His expression was so funny he looked like a nervous little boy. He held him like he was glass and said "Holding a baby is like driving someone's lamborghini, you could break it and that's way too much pressure." So he handed Nolan back to me, he did good though and looked cute while doing it!

Gettin Ready!

First photo shoot together was a success! :) The wonderful Kamille Marshall took our engagements and the shoot could not have gone better. Prepping for the pictures was definitely something to remember. I have never thought shopping was hard until Jord and I had to find outfits to match. It may have taken us a few hours to find something we both liked but we laughed the whole time and found some pretty good looking outfits. Before shopping Jord had to get his haircut so he had this great idea to do it at the cutest barber shop on 25th street in Ogden. Right as we walked out of the barber shop Jordan gave me this puppy dog eye look and was like, "Babe my hair looks bad we can't take pictures anymore...." I'm not gonna lie his hair did need a little help but we fixed it and it ended up looking amazing on him like his hair always does!
We ended up taking our engagement pictures in the mountains in Mantua. I had never been up there till then and I was in shock it was so pretty. I can't wait to get the pictures in a few weeks so there will be more pictures to come soon but for now the "getting ready" pictures will do.

The wonderful Nicole Sayer was kind enough to pamper me for a night and get me all prettied up for the pictures. If anyone knows what contouring is this is what it looks like before, ya it scared me a little bit too but the finished look was amazing! If anyone needs hair and makeup I highly recommend Nicole she is great at what she does. (sorry for the cheesy smile)

The products we used. All were great and my favorite was the contouring kit by the one and only @maskcara (Cara Brook).
The finished look!

Bike The City

This is for all of those people out there who are looking for a super fun and cheap date. Here it is.... biking! Jord and I went on a double date to Salt Lake City with some friends and heard about these Green Bikes that you can ride around all of Salt Lake. Renting these bikes is only five dollars for twenty-four hours, you just have to check into any of the stations every half hour. So we decided to bike through City Creek, around Temple Square, and then up to the Capitol, and when I mean up I mean way up. It was a great workout and an even better date, thanks to my handsome man!
